Our client is a diverse engineering, construction & manufacturing services provider with specialisations across many market sectors. Established in the Australian market for more than 50 years, their innovative delivery of infrastructure and engineering solutions has meant they have established a loyal, committed client portfolio.

Due to an internal promotion and an increased national workload, a position has been created for a Design Manager/Principal Design Engineer to join their Perth Water Engineering team. Managing a small multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for:

Provision of design expertise to water & wastewater treatment plant projects Allocation of internal and external resources to ensure project delivery to timeframesEnsuring financial outcomes are metTo be considered for this role you will need to have a recognised degree and 10 + years industry experience in the design of Water & Wastewater treatment plants, with at least a portion of that in Australia. A high level of interpersonal communication and excellent credibility is integral to this position, and as such, you will need to be able to demonstrate your expertise in this area. You will also need to be able to demonstrate:

Wastewater treatment project experience Detailed design experience Team Leadership experience and ideally some background in commissioning or construction of water treatment plants In return, you will have the opportunity to work with a specialist team in a Design & Construct engineering environment. You will be reporting directly to the National Engineering manager, so your day-to-day autonomy will be inherent.
