PRIMARY PURPOSE
To ensure an effective production planning service to Qatar Operations by close interface between Qatar Operations, Other Oil and Gas Companies and Company Head office Sales & Marketing teams

•Responsible for the production planning process and coordinating all exports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures effective interface and coordination between Qatar Operations and Sales and Marketing teams based in Abu Dhabi to prepare and revise the two year, one year and Quarterly Rolling Production Plans and the “Lifting Program” in line with gas market demands and sales commitments.
Liaises closely with Other Oil and Gas Companies to prepare, revise and manage the one year and Quarterly Rolling Plans for products every month, based on gas demand forecasts obtained from UAE Marketing and Sales.
Liaises closely with Production Operations to prepare, revise and manage the Rolling Plans for products every month, based on gas demand forecasts obtained from marketing and sales.
Monitors and determines the surplus export gas available as shown by PAA every month and includes in the Production Plan.
Coordinates with QP to schedule Ethane exports/re-injection as required, in order to maintain Gas Nomination levels without interruptions, and ensure production is in line with plans.
Coordinates with other shipping Operators to schedule LPG/Condensate/Sulphur shipments as required, in order to maintain Gas Nomination levels without interruptions, and ensure production is in line with plans.
Identifies and anticipates any potential delays in production and export, and flags to both Operations and Marketing.
Identifies and flags requirements for maximizing or minimizing the production of derivates of gas in order to satisfy gas demand.
Receives information from Maintenance concerning major maintenance works, planned shut downs and other activities which might impact production and export capacity of the plant. Liaises with Production, Marketing and Maintenance to discuss the production plans, coordinate corrective actions, and reschedule maintenance activities to reduce downtime, based on the information received from Marketing.
Liaises with Reservoir Department to coordinate and schedule logging activities in order to minimize impact on production.
During the interim Operations Phase, liaises closely with marketing in order to keep the system informed about the start-up and production profiles and to identify the variances with the Gas Nomination Profile.
Complies with all company Health, Safety & Environmental Policies and Procedures.
Conducts all work activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner by not performing any task(s) that are perceived as unsafe and if in doubt, consults Superintendent /manager before proceeding.
Participates in HSE meetings and company QHSE promotional programs.
Reports all accidents, incidents or near misses to Superintendent/Manager or to the QHSE Department if they are unavailable.
Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.

RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Educational Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (4yrs) or diploma (2yrs) in engineering or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training
Experience:
10 years experience in similar onshore and offshore operations
Minimum of 7 years experience in a similar position in an international oil & gas operations
