Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Sr. GPS Systems Engineer with expertise in advanced GPS data processing techniques such as Kalman Filtering. This is a direct hire position located in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Pay listed is an estimate, actual pay based on experience. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities:

-> Act as lead engineer responsible for all engineering tasks including systems requirements, and architectures, HW/SW development, test, and life cycle support
-> Project formulation, development, and execution of projects relevant to the integration of GPS (Global Positioning System) equipment with military airborne and ground based test and training equipment

Requirements:

-> BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems engineering and 10+ years of experience in the appropriate engineering discipline
-> Expertise with advanced GPS data processing techniques such as Kalman Filtering
-> Experience in the development of DoD and civil acquisition documentation such as proposals, statements of work, system specifications, HW & SW requirements and design specifications, etc
-> Extensive knowledge and experience with Global Positioning System (GPS) hardware and software as applied to advanced military systems
-> Ability to serve as technical expert in GPS related technical areas
-> Ability to travel
