Great opportunity with a fast-growing, publicly-traded international company that is searching for Administrative Assistant to support a Plant Manager in all aspects of operations related to human resources, administration and accounting of a new start up plant in the Madison, WI area. Salary listed is an approximation so all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities:

-> Establish all the required human resources documentation (employee manual, templates for work contracts, non-disclosure agreements, time sheets, over-time authorizations, training presence sheets, etc
-> Jointly with the operations manager, implement and manage a training program encompassing all health and safety, environment, technical and skill development aspects

-> Establish benchmarks for remuneration and incentive programs used in similar industries in the area
-> Manage the purchasing and the inventory of required office and logistic supplies
-> Manage all service contracts (housekeeping, telecom and computer network, etc.), and make sure these companies provide services that are up to our expectations
-> Responsible for Payroll, Payables, Receivables, etc
-> Other duties as typically assigned in this role for a small plant of approximately 20 people

Requirements:

-> Administration degree or equivalent
-> Significant experience in administration of a manufacturing operation
-> Ability to listen, good display of human skills, empathy. Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

Questions you will be asked:

• How many total years experience do you have working in an Administrative role? How many years in a manufacturing environment? How many people have you had to support?

• What experience will demonstrate to this client your ability to assist in all administrative aspects of the plant such as HR, administration and accounting?

• Detail any experience working with a company is a start up or similar situation for a plant or department that entailed creating manuals, procedures, HR documentation, training programs etc.

• Where do you currently live? If not local to the Madison, WI area are you able to relocate on your own and how quickly can you be available?

• What is your current or most recent rate of pay or annual salary and what is your desired salary for this position?
