THINK has a 6 month+ contract job opportunity for a Vehicular Electronics Development Engineer! Opportunity to work with a great company in the Ft Wayne, Indiana area.

Responsibilities:

-> Interact with Systems & Product Engineering, Electronic Suppliers, and Manufacturing to ensure end-product is of high quality and correct to spec
-> Drive continuous improvement of electronic products in areas of cost, reliability, and function
-> Identify root cause and resolutions for vehicular electronic module field failures
-> Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, develop strategic plans

Requirements:

-> 5+ years experience in engineering product development
-> BS Degree in Engineering
-> Demonstrated experience in Vehicular Systems Engineering
-> Team player that is able to effectively interface with and develop relationships with internal and external customers & suppliers
-> Be able to travel up to 10% of the time
-> Automotive or Heavy Truck experience

Questions you will be asked:

• How many months of experience do you have developing Microprocessor Based controllers in the automotive or commercial truck industry?

• How many months of experience do you have utilizing CAN bus tools such as Vector CANtech CANalyzer and-or CANape?

• How many months of experience do you have working with suppliers for vehicle controllers?

• Do you have an engineering degree?
