IMMEDIATE NEED with an industry leader in security located in Northern Virginia. Client is searching for PROJECT MANAGERS to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.

Responsibilities:

-> The Federal Systems Division Project Manager is responsible for coordinating various functions to complete assigned Federal Systems projects and fulfill contract requirements
-> Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters
-> Confers with customer in the design, development, scheduling, and installation of all projects
-> Fully understand customer and contractual requirements of any assigned projects/tasks prior to commencement to include verification of pricing data of source data from engineering and subcontractors
-> Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing, requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects

Requirements:

-> Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree or equal work experience
-> Project Management Institute Project Management Professional Certification or ability to obtain PMP Certification within 6 months of employment in the position
-> Minimum of three years management experience consisting of management of security projects
-> Three years in the field experience with installation, design, and integrating of security equipment is preferable
-> Ability to obtain security clearance (SECRET level minimum)
-> Demonstrate proficiency in software tools required for projects (scheduling, database, word processing, ADMIN, MasterMind)
