Gas Fired Generation Project Western Victoria Location 12 month plus contract - Nov 2009 start
This major Gas fired Generation development project located in Western Victoria has commenced construction and is quickly moving towards project targets. Working with this well respected international organisation to ensure safety and also risk management in the project delivery phase.

Providing you with a diverse array of challenges, a high-calibre team is currently being assembled to deliver this high-profile initiative and now is your chance to become a key part of the project team. Reporting to the site Turnkey project manager this role will see you assisting in the development and implementation of safety management procedures as well as providing expert advice, support and coaching to Project and Construction Managers across all aspects of health and safety, including on-site safety requirements. Whilst promoting a safe and positive work culture, you will also provide undertake regular safety audits in order to ensure compliance and provide specialist support in risk identification and incident investigation and analysis.

This critical role will allow you to utilise your specialist knowledge of safety procedures on major construction/engineering projects to create a safe work environment with the project site. Additionally, your experience in conducting safety audits, incident investigation and providing effective and practical safety solutions where necessary will be called upon regularly. Ideally you will also have exposure to Contract Management with the risk identification causing project delay, documenting this and ensuring notification to the project manager to ensure timely and safe project delivery.
