Mechatronics Engineer

You are an experienced Mechatronics Engineer with a minimum of five years hands on industrial experience. Ideally you will have experience in either a production or manufacturing environment with specialist high speed applications knowledge and control system, PLC or Robotics expertise.

A pre-requisite for this role is that your first twelve months are spent offshore. You will enjoy training in Switzerland, China and India.

This is an autonomous role that will involve full life cycle project management within the packaging arena including the installation and commissioning of production plant. This position will also require you to be an effective communicator as you will be dealing directly with end users through the entire process. You will also be dealing with international factories, the spare parts division and fellow Engineers on a daily basis. You will be measured on both customer satisfaction levels and overall technical performance.

You will be joining a Prime Contractor that has a worldwide presence with subsidiaries in 60 countries globally. With an annual turnover over $1.8b U.S. and forward works to the value of €2.2b they are ideally placed to be able to offer stable employment and career progression opportunities. Their core business involves turnkey Project Management for the construction of large scale industrial plants. Their involvement ranges from project development and administration through to providing financial concepts. They operate within the solar power, biofuels, petrochemicals and industrial environments.
