Our client is a global leader in full-service engineering, consulting, construction and operations. As a Global leader in Wastewater services our client provides a full spectrum of water infrastructure services, specializing in managing projects from conception to execution. Due to a steady pipeline of work there is an immediate opportunity for an experienced Water/Wastewater Manager to join their Melbourne office.

Due to the technical nature of the position you must be Tertiary Qualified in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with a minimum 5 10 years demonstrated local experience within the water industry. Previous consultancy experience is highly preferable as is experience working within a local water authority or D&C contractor. Candidates from a broader Business Development/Team Leader background would be preferred.

As a Senior Water Engineer you will be responsible for the design and analysis of the mechanical components within our clients water treatment plant projects both across Australia. Your role will include concept and detailed design through to managing and overseeing the construction of new build and upgrades of existing treatment plants. You will be experienced in the design and analysis of mechanical process equipment associated with Water Treatment plants, pump stations and pipelines. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are a must as is the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
