Hays are currently seeking experienced Environmental Professionals for several of our private sector clients. There is a particular demand for specialists in environmental management, planning & impact assessments. We require senior candidates able to manage and lead multi-disciplinary teams on large-scale EIA's, for infrastructure projects and major industrial developments. Whether your preference is for a relatively small, growing organisation or a global international consultancy Hays can secure you the career move you desire.

The ideal candidates will have:

Tertiary qualifications in Urban & Regional Planning, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or Environmental Management In-depth understanding of NSW environment and planning legislation A minimum of 7 years experience at least some of which must have been gained within a consulting environment Ability to successfully manage complex projects involving multi-disciplinary teams Highly developed oral and written communication skills Highly developed client relationship management skills Demonstrated experience with the mentoring and professional development of more junior staff Exposure to roads, rail, energy, mining or waste management projects will be seen as distinctly advantageous. Any proven ability with business development will be highly regarded but is not essential.
