Our client is an international, integrated energy company with extensive proved reserves and production. They currently have a requirement for a Chief Mechanical Engineer (RPEQ), preferably with conventional gas eg. LNG and/or petrochemical refinery experience. This role provides superior technical engineering and support to the operating facilities and new development projects, focusing on fixed plant, pipelines and rotating equipment. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of mechanical system design and operations in large processing plant environments, combined with solid experience in technical and root cause analysis, development of scopes for plant modifications and the ability to manage projects and upgrades. Demonstrated management / leadership capabilities is required. Significant experience in the relevant industry with practical knowledge of application and operation of mechanical equipment found in oil & gas/petroleum/chemical processing facilities is required.
