Searching for a Generator Specialist with 5+ years installing, maintaining and repairing large Siemens/Westinghouse, GE or Alstrom Utility Generators for either a contract or permanent position working from a HomeOffice.

Responsibilities:

-> Direct field service engineers, technicians, and craft labor in the installation, repair, maintenance of customer generator equipment
-> Oversee staffing of project teams at the job site as need to resolve generator repair/rebuild issues
-> Provide generator apparatus expertise to customer management and suppliers to plan and accomplish tasks
-> Prepare detailed reports concerning as found conditions, actions taken, results obtained, and repair problems

Requirements:

-> BS Engineering or equivalent
-> 5+ years of Generator Specialist experience installing, repairing and maintaining large Siemens-Westinghouse and/or GE & Alstrom utility generators
-> Firm knowledge of electrical testing, such as meggar testing, resistance and capacitance testing
-> Demonstrated generator experience, including, wedge tightness and test experience of electrical generators
-> Ability to do extensive travel as needed

• Do you hold a BS in Engineering for an equivalent Degree? In what discipline and where was it earned?

• Do you have 5+ years of Generator Specialist experience installing, repairing and maintaining large Siemens-Westinghouse and-or GE & Alstrom utility generators? What brands, where and when?

• Has it been your responsibility as a Generator Specialist for electrical testing, such as meggar testing, resistance and capacitance testing? When and where?

• Are you available for unrestricted and extensive travel as needed?

• Have you worked for major Original Equipment Manufacturers as a Generator Specialist? What manufacturer, where and when?
