You will work for a leading technology company providing specialist software and services to the global mining, port, power generation and bulk commodity industries.

Based in Perth, the primary purpose of the Business Development Manager is to proactively sell the Company's mining and bulk material management software products and services to achieve revenue, sales and profit targets.

The main responsibilities include:

Developing specific sales strategies to achieve the nominated targets Developing and maintain relationships with key prospects and decision makers. Maintain accurate records of contacts and prospects utilising the Company's systems and procedures. Lead and personally undertake sales activities from initial contact until sale closure. This will include contacting new and existing clients face to face as well as via telephone and electronically. Arrange and participate in technical and sales presentations to clients. A high degree of domestic travel is required. Maintaining a solid knowledge of the Company's underlying technology, the range of existing products and consulting services.

Formal qualifications in business/commerce or mining/metallurgy/geology or similar are required.

A minimum of three (3) years experience either in new business development with mining services or enterprise software or with operational experience in mining grade control, commodity trading, outbound logistics or bulk terminal operations is required.
