Principal Geotechnical Engineer - Consultancy - Perth

Leading consultancy company Perth based opportunity Great salary and benefits package A great opportunity has developed for an experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer to work with a Perth based international mining consultancy. You will be based in Perth, with occasional domestic and international travel required. When based in Perth, you will be working a 5 days on, 2 days off roster.

Your duties will include:

Partake in and supervise geotechnical projects

Geotechnical investigations, including pit slopes, tailings storage facilities, mine plant and infrastructure, including client and subcontractor liaison.

Perform geotechnical analysis

Design of pit / cut slopes

Play a key role in the mentoring and development of the geotechnical team

You will be required to have tertiary qualifications in a Geotechnical Engineering, or another relevant discipline. You will also be required to have ten years experience in Geotechnical Engineering, with a mix of operations and consultancy experience.

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $125k - $150k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
