This is an exciting and potentially very lucrative opportunity for an experienced Business Manager to join a Global supplier of equipment and consumables to the Mining, Exploration and Construction industries.

As Sales & Business Unit Manager - Drilling Fluids & Equipment, you will initially head up the company's Queensland operation that promotes a comprehensive, world class range of Drilling Fluids and associated Downhole consumables to a wide range of clients operating in the Exploration, Water Well, Geotechnical and Commercial Construction sectors. It is envisaged that the Business Unit Manager will ultimately take on responsibility for the National and Global fluids business.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative manager with exceptional sales, negotiating and business management skills. You will need to be highly articulate, confident and a persuasive team-builder who is able to motivate and communicate to achieve best stakeholder outcomes internally and within client organisations.

With significant business-to-business sales experience and a passion for winning new corporate heavyweight contracts; you will be well versed in managing client relationships at a senior level whilst still maintaining an affinity with the contractor in the field. Your industry and market knowledge will come from an established career in the resources sector and your reputation as a trusted business partner will enable you to leverage off your existing network of clients and contacts.

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing and managing a dedicated team of industry professionals, you will have full P&L responsibility and the scope and resources to plan, organise and drive the future growth of the business unit.

You will be rewarded with an excellent salary package which will include a generous base salary, superannuation and bonuses plus a fully maintained company vehicle and business tools.
