Drilling Cost Engineer

Drilling Cost Engineer required on a residential status in Libya to start April 2009 for 12 months plus. You will have a Drilling Cost Control and an accounting background along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Duties will include: Work to HSSE and Policy requirements, maintain a safe working environment at all times and provide HSE leadership; Focal point to ensure all drilling financial commitments are controlled and reported as required; Well budget preparation; Drilling Performance Reporting; Preparation of Wells Authorisation for Expenditure (AFE); Daily Well Costs and Forecasting Expenditure; Set up and maintain daily cost tracker (CTX) for onshore and offshore operations; Wells P&O Estimates and Cost Control; Well Reconciliation work; Final cost analysis & variance against AFE.
