About our Client

Our client is a civil engineering consultancy with expertise in the fields of roads, stormwater drainage, water supply, sewerage infrastructure and irrigation. They have over 30 staff in their organisation and service the central and northern regional locations of Victoria.

Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work alongside other engineering colleagues to carry out both the design and construction management of a variety of irrigation and bulk water supply projects. Key responsibilities will be to source work opportunities, inspect and assess irrigation projects and prepare tenders, plan and manage the execution of projects, maintain good working relationships with clients and provide support and direction to staff. Other duties will include business development, marketing and financial management.

The Successful Applicant

The Irrigation Engineer will possess a degree or diploma in a civil, agricultural or a related engineering qualification and possess a working experience in irrigation and survey design. You will be familiar with MS Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D and Land Development or a similar design package. You will possess good time and project management skills and have the ability to work in a team environment.
