About the Job
Essential Job Duties:
Provide engineering support for the identification, development and execution of drilling and development projects in heterogeneous carbonate reservoirs, incl. quantifying remaining reserves potential, evaluating rate, reserves and economics. Optimize waterflood performance and recovery of mature fields using OFM and DSS surveillance software. Evaluate waterfloods for CO2 flood potential using simulation modeling and/or analog type curves. Prepare rate/reserve estimates. Complete economic evaluations based on existing facility and operating cost estimates. Develop plans with Geologist and Geophysicist for data acquisition needs of reservoir studies (seismic, well logs, etc.) incl. project plans and cost estimates. Support production engineers in evaluating rate, reserves, and economics for well work options. Support RMT business planning efforts, assure PEEP (economics and reserves model) is consistent with current depletion, approved wedge investment, and possible reserve cases, and contain appropriate drilling and investment well work project data. Prepare and present project recommendations and project status updates in support of working interest owner requirements and requests.

OTHER: Job Site: Houston, TX. 40 hours/week; Salary: $105,643.00 per year. If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE.
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Petroleum Engineering. or related as follows: Master's degree & 2 years experience, or Bachelor's degree & 5 years related experience. Experience with: waterflooding and CO2 flooding; OFM or DSS
