Drilling Well Safety Advisor

Drilling & Wells Safety Advisor required at short notice for long term role based in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety background with a degree desirable. Previous Middle East experience is also beneficial. Accountabilities: • Risk Assessment & Management • Training of new personnel as necessary • Participate in preparation of Client-Contractor Interface document and HSE Plan • Participate in Crisis Management and Emergency Response Duties & Responsibilities: • Strong working knowledge of OSHA Health and Safety regulations • Works directly with Contractor management on safety concerns, including organizing safety stand-downs and safety Interventions with Contractor management to maintain a safe work environment • Conducts and participates in reviews, inspections and audits of contractor drilling facilities • Conduct / lead safety audits for the Client and in conjunction with the contractor • Develop, review and assess the effectiveness of Safety activities, initiatives and systems and identify changes or improvements as necessary. • Trained in SOC, Safety Observations and good at field level presentation for tool box talks Please submit your CV quoting reference J5910 clearly stating your availability, day rate expectations and desired working locations.
