Planner Scheduler - Project Controls/Excel/Associate 26-28 $/hr

Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Project Controls Associate with experience in planning/scheduling and/or cost engineering. This position is located in Overland Park, KS.

Responsibilities:

-> The associate will be assigned to a role in scheduling/planning or cost engineering, or both
-> Cost Engineering duties may include: assist with development of monthly/quarterly reports; assist in cash flow and in forecasting cost at complete; maintain project change management program; maintain project cost report under supervision, assist in invoicing owner
-> Scheduling/Planning duties may include: assist in schedule fragnet preparation and resource loading; assist in critical path analysis, prepare and maintain PES reporting

Requirements:

-> Requires a 4-year degree, or equivalent, and project experience in planning/scheduling, business systems maintenance, and cost engineering
-> Prior project experience in the engineering and construction industry
-> Intermediate proficiency in Excel (VLOOK Ups, pivot tables, linking to other spreadsheets). Candidates will be tested on this at interview
-> Knowledge of project control tracking/forecasting/scheduling systems
-> Knowledge of cost accounting

• Are you local to the Overland Park, KS area?

• Do you have experience with project control tracking-forecasting-scheduling systems ( resource loading, critical path analysis, etc..)? Please elaborate?

• Do you have knowledge and experience in cost accounting-cost engineering? Any experience with monthly reporting, cost forecasting, maintaining project cost report, etc...? Please explain.

• Do you have a project background in the engineering or construction industries?

• Are you proficient with MS Excel (i.e. VLOOK Ups, pivot tables, linking to other spreadsheets, etc..)? Rate your skill level.
