Established Product Design Company seeks a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer in Cape Cod area of Massachusetts. Position is initially a part-time contract, with potential to become a full time permanent position. Position is focused on Electronic product development. Candidate must be able to work in a small, VERY fast paced environment while handling multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

-> Mechanical Design and Electronic product development tasks
-> 3D design of Products and Enclosures including sheet metal housings and plastics
-> Assembly and Outline Restriction Drawings for electronic assemblies
-> Interface with CAD team on 3D modeling of printed circuit boards and components
-> Thermal /AirFlow knowledge is a plus including design of custom heat sinks and cold plates

Requirements:

-> 3-5 years mechanical design engineering and electronic product development experience
-> Software Skills required: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CircuitWorks is a plus, Pro-Engineer Wildfire is a plus
-> Professional Skills required: Independent worker, Highly Organized, Multi-tasker, Good customer interface skills
-> Customer and organization skills are a must
-> Highly motivated
-> Work in small development teams
