CONTRACTS MANAGER

Our client is a market leader in the design and supply of power systems through out the world, and is currently looking to employ an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team.

Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with various stakeholders including Project Managers to promote and protect the commercial interest of the business, as well as being the primary point for contract matters and performance.

You will also be responsible for managing a small team of contract administrators whilst identifying commercial risks and opportunities. In addition you will review project programs, manage contract claims and assist project managers for contract close out.

To be successful in this role you will preferably be tertiary qualified in an engineering discipline, have at least five years of experience in a simular role and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.

You will also have project management experience in the construction industry and have good knowledge of construction insurance, contract law and risk management.
