MINERAL RESOURCES PROJECT

MECHANICAL OR SMP BACKGROUND

Our client located in Perth is a Project Management and Engineering Service provider to clients in the Australian Resource sector. Due to project demands they require the services of a Senior Project Engineer with a Mechanical or SMP (Structural, Mechanical, Piping) background.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Developing and implementing the construction plan to ensure that design, technical, and quality standards are achieved safely and according to time and budget parameters.
- Managing the site to ensure and verify that all construction work conforms to the project engineering and quality system requirements.
- Coordinating the overall work effort to maintain the schedule and budget within agreed parameters, including progress reporting.

To be considered for this role, in addition to the above experience you will be tertiary qualified (engineering or equivalent), possess a solid background in resource projects and excellent management and leadership qualities. The successful candidate may also have the opportunity to step up into an Area Manager’s role.
