My client, one of Australia’s premier electrical construction and associated services companies is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Service Manager for their Sydney Head Office.

The essential duties of this position include:

Providing initial client contact to assess client needs Prepare an estimate/budget for the service call or project with a detailed review of client requirements Liaise with and proactively manage the existing team of service electricians Negotiate and maintain terms and rates with clients for sustaining service accounts Manage financial aspects of contracts with the service project assistant (progress billings, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interests and simultaneously maintain good relations with clients Prepare monthly reports as required by the Division Manager. Maintain a good knowledge of all client accounts maintaining the company’s already renowned reputation for delivering quality service and installations. Leverage off the lucrative existing client base as well as actively monitor and pursue other business development opportunities that are of benefit to the division Monitor overall quality and quantity of work performed by the group. Reengineer current processes and procedures to improve overall efficiency, quality and capability of the division Assume additional responsibilities as required by the Divisional Manager. In addition to the above, the successful candidate will; be familiar with running teams of 15+ people; will be extremely dedicated with a passion for driving business growth; ideally come from an electrical trade background and have progressed to a Service Manager position; be computer literate; possess superior communications and interpersonal skills; be commercially astute and be capable of providing “out of the box” solutions.
