Looking for a new challenge? A rare opportunity for you to focus on high end business development and co-ordinate sales activities associated with supply of engineered electrical solutions for Greenfield / Brownfield projects and plant upgrades in QLD. You will join a dynamic and talented team in the Brisbane office of the world's leading suppliers of electrical and automation products and engineered solutions from High Voltage electrical power distribution, substations, switchgear, transformers through to variable speed drives, milli Volt instrumentation etc. They have an enviable track record of success in winning and executing projects for clients in mining, mineral processing, chemical process, heavy industrial industries and Utilities.

Supported by an experienced team of systems engineering and electrical / automation product specialists you will focus on winning new business through

Gathering and acting on market intelligence to identify opportunities Building strong relationships with decision makers. Work with consultants, contractors, end users to identify newproject opportunities Identify business opportunities where upgraded electrical systems would add value Position the company to provide bids and/ proposals Determine the appropriate strategic approach to end users, engineering consultants and engineering contractors to optimise potential to win. Co-ordinate estimation / proposals team to produce winning bids. Handover successful bids to the Account Manager and Systems Engineering / Operations team.

This is a great opportunity for a self motivated, disciplined professional with proven capability in winning new business in provision of engineered solutions. Knowledge of the QLD market is preferred but not essential; a working knowledge of electrical engineering is required. Success in this role could open the door to a variety of opportunities locally or internationally.
