This widely known and respected industry leader has built it's reputation on quality, complexity and sheer size of it's major EPCM projects, not only engaged by some of the world largest clients, it boasts the ability to succeed and deliver when others have fallen, this is a clear indication of an employer of choice in such changing times.

To this end, our client has now undertaken to source an highly qualified Senior Project Control Manager, reporting directly to the Project Control Director the key objectives of this role will be:

Development and management responsibility of work breakdown schedules, overall project plan, code of accounts, budgeting, estimation, project scheduling and resource requirements across entire project scope.
Responsible for the designing and development of reporting mechanisms in order to identify, rectify and recommend solutions to problem areas as the project proceeds.
Review and approval of all project cost forecasts and progress reports
Review and recommendation of draft construction contracts for adequacy of cost and schedule requirements.
Responsible for the schedule optimisation studies and cost benefit analyses.
Development and interpretation of policies, objectives, and standards applicable to project costing and plan.
Preparation and delivery of all management reporting required through out the project.
Providing technical direction and support for all project control staff
Conducting performance reviews and career counselling

To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills as the establishment and ongoing development of key business relationships is paramount. Coupled with keen eye for detail, a demonstrated knowledge of computerised preparatory cost control systems and your ability to lead by example will set you apart as the ideal candidate.

Your previous career history will have at least 10 years in a similar management role, with tertiary qualifications and EPCM project expertise together with a solid working history with SAP is crucial to this role.
