This opportunity is an imminent need to lead an established commercial team within a top tier Civil Engineering contractor based here in Brisbane. The company pride themselves on their work and are renowned for producing and delivering quality projects in the major civils sector within highways, bridges, power and water. Project values range typically from $50M to $500M and so they have an extensive capability to deliver major contracts.
The type of work they have won and looking to win in the future includes their mainstay of infrastructure, roads, structures, drainage, as well as water and waste water where they are targeting currently. They currently have a full order book for the foreseeable future but are confident of securing another two projects within the water industry imminently and so they need an additional Commercial Manager to oversee one of these projects due to the size of the job.
An experienced Commercial Manager is sought to join the management team and lead this business opportunities as well as continuing the good work they have already done in the market place. They are looking for a real ‘go to’ person who can maintain pace with the rapid expansion of the division and work in conjunction with the rest of the business. You will also possess a sharp commercial mind as well has having a minimum of 10 years civil experience preferably with at least 3 of these in the Water / Waste Water arena. You will be tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying and have Australian Citizenship.
