Manager Mining The Manager Mining is accountable for safe and efficient mine production through the effective leadership of an experienced and skilled team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the scope of the role covers planning, scheduling, stripping, coal hauling and environmental monitoring. The Manager Mining is a key member of the executive team. Specific responsibilities include: • ensuring the highest standard of safety and environmental performance;• establishing a culture of achievement and success;• developing, implementing and monitoring operational plans;• managing production;• meeting targets. The position of Manager Mining will appeal to a dynamic leader with successful experience in the management of large scale open cut operations, in either metalliferous or coal environments. Formal qualifications in mining or related disciplines are essential with statutory qualifications being well regarded. Personal qualities of energy, integrity, commitment and drive together with strong interpersonal skills are also prime prerequisites.
