Location: Saudi Arabia MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: B.S. Engineering. M.S. or PhD in Engineering or other advanced professional engineering degree is highly desirable. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or registration is highly desirable. Experience: Ten (10) years of professional experience, including years as an engineer in responsible charge of technical work in incumbent's field of specialty.
Recognized by Engineering Services as an expert. Incumbent will normally have achieved industry recognition through activities in professional societies and industrial organizations such as ASME, ASCE, ASTM, API, NACE, SEI and others. Incumbent must have published several papers in technical journals. Work direction skills are a prerequisite in some job applications. Must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills and be willing to transfer implicit knowledge to specialists and engineers in incmbent's field.
The Engineering Specialist incumbent will be required to have: Solid experience in development and implementation of methods, programs and systems related to inspection of plant and equipment including Risk Based Inspection (RBI) and plant integrity assessments. Effective experience in development and implementation of integrated plant integrity management systems and reliability programs and such as Risk & Reliability Management (RRM). Solid experience in process plants inspection activities including major turnarounds and shutdowns. Experience in development and implementation of quality assurance programs & tools such as 6-Sigma Valid API certifications such as API 510, 570 & 653. Active participation in international professional societies or committees related to inspection such as API inspection subcommittee, ASNT, ASME, etc.
