This ASX listed company’s vision is to realise growth and expansion through the development of their projects from exploration to operation and commercialisation. The company possesses a team of people with significant technical and commercial experience in resource exploration, development and operations management with both major and junior companies.

With their main focus on gold projects in East Africa, they have a four million ounce indicated /inferred resource in a world class province with a 50 million ounce known gold endowment. They are now at the stage where they seek to appoint an experienced Chief Executive Officer or Managing Director to lead this highly capable and established team.

Reporting to the Board, you will have overall responsibility for leading the company as it moves through to the development phase. Key corporate activities will be your responsibility as well as promoting the company’s overall profile with your excellent presentation skills. Your experience in a similar role within the mining industry, particularly in developing new operations will be pivotal to your success as you lead the company from resource drill out, through to Bankable Feasibility and beyond. Some experience working on African projects, whilst not essential, will be highly regarded.

We are seeking a top class mining professional with tertiary qualifications in Geology, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy or Finance. An executive remuneration package will be negotiated.
