Permanent Position Available For Right Candidate
Manager within Engineering Consultancy Essential

An engineering consultancy based in Perth is looking for a Draing Office Manager to manage a small drafting team. The client is a resource development consultancy specialising in evaluation, engineering design, project management and construction of processing facilities and infrastructure. This client has a strong presence in Australia but is also currently working on projects in Asia and Europe

This role will involve running a multidiscipline drafting team with varying degrees of employee experience. As the Drafting Manager you will be expected to upskill, mentor and grow the team as well as assist with the design work on a broad range of tasks.

This is a critical role for the future of the business and therefore would like to find someone with the following attributes:

Management experience within a multidiscipline design office
Ongoing exposure to designing for Resources and Mining projects
Strong background in Mechanical Design for brownfields projects
High competency in AutoCAD
Experience on ProSteel is extremely advantageous although not essential
