Orica Senior Technical Services Engineer - Electronic and Blast Based Services • LOCATIONS INCLUDE KALGOORLIE, ROLLESTON, ANGLO DAWSON, TOWNSVILLE, ADELAIDE, KURRI KURRI AND TAMWORTH• CUTTING EDGE DRILL AND BLAST TECHNOLOGY• MANAGEMENT OF ALL TECHNICAL SERVICES WITHIN THE REGION Orica has opportunities for technical services engineer at the forefront of Electronic and Blast Based Service design, technology and management. As the industry leaders in this field you will be exposed to the latest designs, techniques and equipment. You will be given full support and training. Working with cutting edge technology you will develop and continually improve out comes for blasts through design and your own experience. Reporting to the Regional Technical Services Manager your primary role is to recommend and advise customers on the safe and efficient use of explosives. Supporting and implementing key strategic products to customers you will add value and lower costs. You will also support and deliver SH&E initiatives such as blast auditing and provide general technical support. The typically successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, drill and blast operational experience in a technical, business and production role. A passion for blasting, commercial awareness and a proven ability to work with and build a team will assist in your application.
