Production Director

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Successful candidate will be required to: Produce and direct wide range of video productions through all stages from inception to final sign off and delivery, managing budgets, scheduling, resource allocation and staff requirements. Produce and direct video programs to highly creative technical standards, using an in depth knowledge of technical television production standards. Work with modern Standard and High Definition professional digital production and post production environment and formats, including Digital Betacam and HDCAM. Be directly involved with Editing, Compositing, and developing 3D animations which will include hands-on operation. Train and lead teams.

SELECTION CRITERIA: Bachelor's Degree in Communications Media (film/TV production, visual arts) or related disciplines. Minimum of nine (9) years' TV/film production experience (studio management at Director/Cameraman level) with an established/accredited professional production organization. Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic preferred. A good theoretical background and practical knowledge of the systems, performance capabilities, equipment operating capability. Good understanding of Middle Eastern (specifically the Saudi Arabian) customs, values and traditions. Knowledge of pertinent Saudi Arab Government Laws and Regulations affecting production activities Demonstrate production and post production and design for television skills via verifiable showreel and / or credit list. Skillfully operate two or preferably more of the following Editing / Compositing / 3D software applications: Apple Final Cut Studio suite, Avid Symphony DS/Nitris, Autodesk Maya and Adobe after effects.

COMMENTS: Public Relations Department is responsible for enhancing and protecting the company image through interaction with the public, industry leaders, opinion leaders, its customers and the media.
