POSITION DESCRIPTION: The candidate will work as a Refinery Project Engineer and be responsible for the following activities: Evaluates technical and economical aspects of proposals submitted from within and from outside the company. Conceptualizes process requirements, conducts process, modeling studies utilizing commercial modeling programs, establishes technical parameters for major facilities, such as process plants, pipelines, product shipping and distribution facilities. Conducts technical and marketing studies and evaluates alternatives. Coordinate and evaluate work being conducted by outside consultants or other Saudi Aramco organizations. Maintains frequent contacts with Business Line representatives, Project Management personnel Planning and Engineering organizations and Finance Department personnel. Conducts economic analysis and makes recommendations to management. Prepares and makes presentations to Executive Management in Saudi Aramco. Assist in preparing business proposals and commercial contracts.
SELECTION CRITERIA: B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and experience of at least 10 years. Experience in project economic analysis and management of hydrocarbon processing projects. Experience in the use of HYSIS (process modeling) and PIPEPHASE software. Ability to handle structured and non-structured assignments.
