THE ROLE
A major international oil and gas operating company has requested CCL to provide a Materials & Logistics (M&L) HSE Team Leader, with a strong paramedic background, to be a first line medical responder. B2B position based in Angola on a 28/28 rotation. Daily rate is internationally competitive dependent on experience and qualifications.
THE PERSON
Minimum 10 years experience in Health and Safety with exposure to drilling operations and applied skills within incident investigation, behaviour observation techniques, risk assessment, safety management system auditing and environment management systems. Provide HSE advice to Logistics Team, Compliance Monitoring with Client Systems, oversight of Response Systems. Leadership, guidance and support for personnel, systems, standards and processes during drilling, completion and subsea operations. Key focus is continuous improvement and compliance while striving to reach goal of no accidents, no harm to people and no damage to the environment. Will also have responsibilities concerning environmental issues, training and information sharing. Must have previous experience of working in hardship locations.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ideal candidate will have degree / equivalent qualifications and experience. Current certification or licensure as a Paramedic by an accredited association with a minimum of Current Certification Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Prehospital Trauma Life Support. Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organisational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and strong communication and presentation skills including fluent written and spoken English.
