Application Specialist XRD Almelo, The Netherlands
We search for a dynamic and internationally oriented regional Application Specialist X-ray Diffraction for our global Application Competence Center, who supports PANalytical's sales organizations in EMEA with application, technical and XRD product knowledge in order to optimize the sales chances.
In this role the Application Specialist:
Conducts demonstrations and carries out application feasibility studies for prospects in the international demo lab in Almelo.
Trains customers during training courses in Almelo.
Performs customized training courses and establishes commissioning of systems at customers on site.
Probes the XRD market via intense customer contacts, visiting local exhibitions and conferences and feeds observed market opportunities and user requirements to product management for future developments.
Contributes to PANalytical’s product positioning and promotion and uplifts company profile by writing scientific articles and creating commercial materials.
Job Requirements
Has excellent communication skills and is a team player.
Has commercial feeling and a customer orientation.
Is fluent (speaking and writing) in English and preferably also in other languages like German, French, Spanish and/or Italian.
Likes frequent traveling.
Experience
Preferably experience with X-ray diffraction or related analytical techniques.
Education
A university degree and a solid background in the field of diffraction, preferably specialized in Material Science, Mineralogy or Geology.
