Our client is a privately owned company with a long and proud history of providing metals and minerals of all kinds to customers around the world. The Group owns and operates a portfolio of world-class base metal mining operations, development projects and exploration fields. The group currently has mining operations located in Australia and Asia and a large portfolio of advanced and early stage exploration projects through Australia, Asia and North America.
One of their Western Australian mining operations currently has an excellent opportunity for a Reliability Engineer to join their professional maintenance team.
The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Reliability Engineer will champion the processes of equipment reliability improvement by rigorous analysis of failure events, asset performance, operational requirements and risk profiles. You will lead, coach and mentor maintenance and operations personnel on Root Cause Analysis, provide technical support and assist in driving the evolution from reactive to proactive maintenance, leading to productivity improvement and reduced maintenance costs.
The Successful Applicant
You will possess relevant trade or tertiary qualifications with a demonstrated knowledge of Condition Monitoring, Reliability Data analysis and Life Cycle, preferably in an underground mining maintenance environment. Previous leadership experience will be viewed favourably.
