Our client a national operator whose expertise lies in the supply, construction and maintenance services to a variety of areas such as roads, water infrastructure, rail and subdivisions just to name a few are currently on the look out for an Environmental Officer to join their operation based in the Gold Coast area.

The role:

In the role of Environmental Officer the main focus of your role will be to provide support to the Quarrying and Surfacing personnel in the areas of:

• Environmental monitoring and inspections

• Assistance with Environmental training and awareness forums

• Preparation of monthly environmental reports

• Ensuring environmental procedures and policies are followed and carried out in a compliant manner

The Candidate:

In order to be considered for this role it will be expected that the successful candidate will have the relevant tertiary qualifications from within an environmental engineering, science or related area of significance. Two to three years experience from within the mining, civil construction or similar industries would be seen as beneficial to securing this opportunity.

An excellent remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
