This is an exciting and potentially very lucrative opportunity for an experienced Sales Professional to join a leading supplier of equipment and consumables to the Mining, Exploration and Construction industries.

As Business Development Manager, you will spearhead the company’s Queensland sales drive promoting a comprehensive, world-class range of Downhole product and drilling consumables to a wide range of clients operating in the Exploration, Water Well, Geotechnical and Commercial Construction sectors.

With a roaming brief covering the whole of the state, you will have full responsibility for all field sales activity focusing mainly on identifying new opportunities and establishing long-term relationships with some key players in the region. You will leverage off your existing relationships and reputation in the market to achieve realistic targets and provide outstanding customer service with your knowledge of product and its application.

This is a customer-facing role so of course you will need excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all customers from independent drilling contractors to corporate heavyweights. Most importantly you will need to have onsite credibility, good commercial acumen and be able to recognise a real opportunity and negotiate the deal.

For the right individual there is an excellent salary package that will include a generous six figure base salary, super and uncapped bonuses plus a fully maintained company vehicle and business tools.
