Carbon Practice Leader

My client is a global consulting firm with Operations throughout Australia and Europe. Due to the nature of the current market, they are strategically positioning themselves and their business to grow and develop ahead of the Carbon curve with the addition of a Carbon Practice leader to be based in Sydney.

With a strong background in the consulting market, my client has recognised that a niche exists within the Engineering markets. As a result of this, they have conceptualised the position of Head of Carbon within their organisation. With a direct line of communication with the CEO and MD, the position will involve:

Extensive liaison with the Executive management team throughout their global offices to facilitate internal change policies relating to carbon management; The development and direct ownership of a business plan for the organisations Carbon portfolio with a particular focus on the expansion of their already existing client base within the Commercial, Mining and Infrastructure markets; The identification of new markets and services packages which will form part of the organisations core Suitability service package; Managing the growth and development of the organisations profile within the Domestic and International markets; and The continued growth and development of the team as a whole including the acquisition of key personnel to form the core Carbon team.

Ideally the intention of this position is to grow and develop a successful carbon brand within the market. The ideal candidate will come have a strong consulting background within the Engineering markets, an exceptionally strong understanding of the Economics behind the Carbon sphere and the demonstrated commercial acumen to build and maintain a high quality consulting team.
