VERY HOT NEED: Large company has an immediate and HOT need in the Southern area of the U.S for a Maintenance Manager of a Pulp and Paper facility. Relocation is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

-> Responsible for an effective maintenance system that meets HSE standards and complies with all environmental legislation
-> Responsible for implementation of the site health and safety plan in area of accountability
-> Responsible for ensuring maintenance and capital budgets are prepared, met and variances are addressed as needed
-> Responsible for developing and ensuring the effective execution of the 5 years maintenance and capital plans
-> Responsible for planning and execution of scheduled shutdowns in an efficient, cost effective manner with the least amount of interruption to operations
-> Responsible for communicating results (costs, availability, productivity, and other Key Performance Indicators)
-> Responsible for performance, Safety, and Quality of contractors used in facility for maintenance and capital project work

Requirements:

-> Requires a BS engineering degree in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
-> Requires a minimum of 10 years industrial maintenance experience with a minimum of 5 years in maintenance management
-> Paper industry experience would be preferred, but not mandatory
-> Experience with development, implementation and improvement of maintenance processes (including people, methods, materials, machinery, and process) to maximize profitability
-> Experience in providing high quality, low cost and timely Construction and Central Shop maintenance
-> Experience with minimizing required investment to provide reliable, efficient and low operating cost solutions while meeting quality, health and safety, and environmental standards
