Machine Engineer - 5 Axis/Lathe/Mill 25-29 $/hr

THINK has immediate opportunity for a highly skilled 5 axis CNC Machinist just North of Boston!! Our client is a very well respected precision manufacturing company serving the aerospace, defense, energy, and medical industries. A great place to work in a very convenient location.

Responsibilities:

-> Programming, set up, and operation of 4 and 5 axis CNC machines (Mills and Lathes)
-> Produce components to high tolerances
-> Perform CNC program edits, offsets and adjustments
-> Perform set-ups, changeovers, and tooling / fixtures adjustment as needed

Requirements:

-> MIN 5 Years experience working with 5 axis CNC mills, lathes and EDM
-> Excellent mechanical skills and the ability to use basic measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers and comparators
-> Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
-> Ability to speak effectively before engineering group and management

• How many years experience do you have working with medical products?

• Do you have a degree? Please provide.

• How many years of EDM (Electric discharge machining) experience do you have?
