Project Manager NSW Infrastructure

Our client is a leader in the management of energy infrastructure and the provision of energy related products who currently have a requirement for a Project Manager to manage a number of projects.

Responsibilities:

Actively manage the Project of electricity, wind and water design, construction and installation contracts for external third parties so as to exceed all company and client requirements in terms of service delivery, OHSE and profitability.Provide support in the development of winning proposals and bids for electricity, wind and water works.To develop key relationships with external service providers and clients.Accountable for the development and delivery of the NSW Infrastructure Electricity, Wind and Water program currently valued at over $30 Million, consisting of multiple projects.The role carries overall accountability for:

Resource management and leadership.Program and project management.Procurement labour and materials.Head and sub-contract negotiation and management.Cost and financial analysis and management.Risk identification, mitigation and management.Client and stakeholder management.Quality and management system development and implementation.Generation of gross margin which underpins the profitable operating margin of the business unit.Qualifications & Experience:

Project Management qualifications and minimum Diploma in Engineering.Program and Project Management experience.Full accountability of construction projects great than $5 Million in value, preferably for external clients.Demonstrated sub-contractor negotiation and management experience.
