Senior Mining Project Manager

Open Cut Experience Essential - Coal highly desirable Mines through out Queensland, Brisbane based to begin with Strong Pipeline of work ahead between 2009-2011
My client is an established mining contractor; they are both National and International and are at the pinnacle of the mining industry. The current position is for the Queensland operation and with be based in Brisbane to begin with, you will be required to travel depending on what future projects are won and you will manage the project from start to finish. This position is due to their strong pipeline of work in 2010-2011.

To be successful for this position you will need a minimum of 5 years as a project manager, you will have experience with open cut mines and will have worked with coal within the last 2 -3 years. Qualifications in mining are mandatory along with a proven track record, good network of clients and engineers in the local market, written and verbal references and experience with open cut mines in the coal industry.
