Principal Resource Geologist - Consultancy

Leading Australian consultancy City lifestyle Career stability A leading Australia-wide consultancy company is looking for an experienced Senior Resource Geologist to join their Perth office. This is a great opportunity to make your next career move and step into a managerial position. You will predominantly be based in Perth, with the occasional travel required.

You will be reporting to the Resource Geology Manager, with some of your responsibilities including:

Resource estimation and feasibility studies

Due diligence studies and audits and working with geostatistics, audits, due diligence studies, feasibility studies

Training and mentoring of resource geologists

Submitting the required proposals and reports

You will be required to tertiary qualifications in geology or a related discipline, as well as 7 years experience in a similar role. Post graduate qualifications, as well as significant experience with geostatistics and resource estimation. Substantial experience with coal or uranium will be highly regarded.

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $145k - $185k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
