This company have extensive expertise in operations and maintenance for rail infrastructure throughout Australia. Due to strong performance and extensive growth plans, their rail business is seeking a Track Supervisor or Superintendent to support the delivery of significant rail contracts in Melbourne & Victoria.

As the position holder you will have the overall responsibility of the delivery of maintenance services for track and infrastructure. Key responsibilities will include:

Assess risk & ensure a safe work environment Ensure compliance with PQP, OHS & environmental & railway legislation requirements Plan site works for labour, materials & plant Ensure daily targets & program requirements are met Supervise & direct track renewals & maintenance work Ensure timely provision of all resources necessary to meet the work program

The successful candidate will have knowledge of railway track infrastructure, its maintenance & application of standards along with a minimum of 5 years experience in planning & site control of railway maintenance or construction activities in a live railway environment. You will also need excellent planning, programming and co-ordinating skills and good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
