Based in our Brisbane office, the Project Development Group (PDG) is tasked with becoming a Centre of Excellence for the undertaking of studies and delivery of significant and sustaining capital projects within BMA. The Project Development Group provides project delivery services to BMA through the management of all phases of the investment life cycle.

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer, focusing on one of our significant growth projects. Reporting to the Project Director, the successful applicant will be responsible for establishing, authorising and reviewing electrical engineering standards, guidelines and overall project procedures. Providing functional leadership to our engineering providers, you will deliver a common and consistent approach to requirements across all project phases. You will further manage consultants and equipment suppliers to provide engineering deliverables that meet scope, budget, schedule and quality requirements.

With extensive electrical engineering experience, the successful applicant will have worked on multiple large scale mine construction projects, having been involved in the entire process from feasibility through to execution. Degree qualified, you will have demonstrated working knowledge of owners’ team / client based project management, having previously overseen EPCM contractors and third party service providers. Additionally, demonstrable experience in HV reticulation / distribution, including exposure to Government and Semi Government authorities in this area is essential.
