PURPOSE
The Manager, Maintenance & Integrity will recruit and lead the Sub-Team of Technical Integrity personnel, delivering Functional Excellence to all Production Units (PU’s) and Joint Interest Units (JIU’s) in Production Operations, particularly in the areas of Technical Integrity Assurance, Process Optimization, Reliability Centred Maintenance, Operational QA/QC, and Metallurgy.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Create World Class Standards and Guidelines for Technical Integrity & Reliability appropriate to a Risk Based, Safety Case environment.
* Implement relevant Standards in each PU and audit their compliance, assisting PU’s to develop action plans to close any gaps.
* Provide ongoing governance for all PU’s ensuring compliance with relevant Standards and Guidelines.
* Oversee the completion of deliverables of the agreed work plan from direct reports.
* Provide technical Integrity Peer Assist to all PU’s, emerging PU’s and JIU’s as required through the development of a Community of Practice in this specialty area.
* Oversee the development of internal and external benchmarking for all relevant critical aspects of Production Operations and advise PU’s and JIU’s of best practices accordingly.
* Provide pre-start-up Peer Assist and Peer Review for emerging PU’s.
* Assist PU’s in performing Root Cause Analysis for loss of integrity and reliability of all critical production equipment.
* Provide functional input to performance evaluations of relevant Operations and Maintenance personnel.

Train, coach and mentor relevant Operations and Maintenance personnel in accordance with skill development needs and the CBT matrix.
Safety Requirements
* Ensure operational activities are planned to the highest standards in accordance with the priority order of HSE, Production, Growth and Cost.
* Ensure that processes and plans account for the safety of personnel and integrity of facilities at all times.
* Promote a risk-based approach to producing operations, teaming with technical specialists and HSE staff to conduct risk assessments and implement control processes to manage risk.
* Participate in initiatives to promote visible and pro-active team commitment to HSE activities.
* Participate in HSE activities such as inspections, contractor site visits, HSE meetings, local audits, integrated HSE reviews and emergency exercises as requested by the Company.
* Assist the operations teams in development of the HSE Cases.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
Engineering Science Degree; Post graduate degree is desirable.
Experience & Technical Competencies
* Minimum of 15 years experience in oil and gas producing operations with minimum 5 years in a supervisory position.
* Strong leadership, human relations, written and verbal communication, and team skills required.
* Strong planning and reporting skills required.
* Strong capability in general computing, MS Office tools, and requisite technical computing required.
* Emergency response, operability, operational readiness, operational surveillance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and production optimization preferred.
* Working knowledge of rotating equipment, process, structural, electrical, instrumentation, safety, and control system design and operations preferred.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of operational safety case preferred.
* Experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of production facilities preferred.
* Experience in computerized maintenance management systems and maintenance planning preferred.
