HLP Solutions has partnered with a leader in the Oil and Gas Industry. The Company is the largest oil and natural gas operator in Mississippi, owns the largest reserves of CO2 used for tertiary oil recovery east of the Mississippi River, and holds key operating acreage in onshore Louisiana, Alabama and Texas Barnett Shale areas. The Company increases the value of acquired properties in its core areas through a combination of exploitation drilling and proven engineering extraction practices.
HLP Solutions is seeking an experienced reservoir engineer improved oil recovery expertise.
Required Experience:
• Design improved oil recovery floods from conception through implementation.
• Monitor floods through pattern balancing, well-test analysis, injection profiles and production logging.
• Prepare reservoir descriptions through well log and core analysis, well performance and well test analysis all integrated with geologic interpretations.
• Ability to recognize problems, design tests or collect data and solve the problem.
• Generate new capital projects.
• Willingness and ability to train and utilize technical aides.
• Prepare reserves report for area of responsibility.
• Prepare and update budget for area of responsibility.
• Minimum BS in Engineering with a preference in Reservoir Engineering.
• 10+ years active industry experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
