Think Resources, a Randstad company is an engineering and technical recruiting firm actively seeking 2 Staffing Sales Representatives to work out of our new office in the Houston area calling on clients within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Defense & Aviation, Petrochemical and Engineering industries.

Responsibilities:

-> Growing sales revenue for both contract and direct hire business
-> Making 80-100 cold calls / day while in the office
-> A minimum of 10 face to face sales calls per week

Requirements:

-> Highly motivated, driven sales person to develop Contract and Direct Hire staffing solutions in the Houston market
-> Four year College degree
-> Minimum three (3) years sales experience, preferred in a technical environment
-> Prior work history in Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical or the engineering industry is highly desirable
-> Candidate is expected to reside in the area, work out of the office and travel 50-75 % of the time within the assigned sales territory

Benefits:

-> Base salary of $35k - 40k/yr plus very attractive commissions (5-12%) increasing your total earning potential over $100k after the second year. Position amenities include milage reimbursement and company laptop

Questions you will be asked:

• Describe any sales experience you have in any of the following areas: Engineering Sales environments, Oil & Gas, Energy, Defense & Aviation, Petrochemical and staffing.

• Are you interested in 50-75% outside sales in Houston, TX area? Where do you currently live?

• Are you comfortable making 10+ face-to-face client visits a week and average 80-100 phone calls on the days while in the office?

• List your education and degree.

• Why are you leaving your present job? What is your desired base + commission?
